today in class we did a lot of things. Starting off with th usual, morning work. During the day some people left the classroom for other things. this was a really special day because it was mix-match day! Most people didn't celebrate it, they must have something wrong with their brains! Anyway, for science we went around the room and said positive things about everyone's model. after, we made a map of it and Mrs. Hfner took everyone's picture with the model, people in the group and map. We're all movie stars now! then we move on to math where we learned how to subtract fractions. it was a little confusing to me. after math we had D.A.R.E. we watched a video called the Broken Toy. to everybody, I think, it was sad! we had lunch and recess next. of course they were great because..... NO WORK! then we had a short reading focus lesson about persuasive texts. then everybody worked on their election projects. we also had reading groups and the chance to color the Brazil flag. last we had to finish spelling and write down homework. WOW IT WAS A BBBUUUSSSYYY DAY!
